- 6 cups apples, cored, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup water1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
- In a 2 litres pot, mix together apples, water and lemon juice.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 10 to12 minutes or until desired texture.
- Add to taste cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Serve hot or cold.
