- 4 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- 1 pinch salt and cinnamon
- Place the sliced apples in an oven safe pan
- Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Cream butter then add brown sugar, all-purpose flour, quick-cooking oats and salt.
- Pour mixture over apples.
- Bake at 375°F for about 40 minutes.
